Who is going to save you?

We are all born to this world with so many people telling us that we have to act and be a certain way, and that the only way we can make it to the “promise land” is to have someone other than you save you. That asking and looking to a higher being/entity, institution, government, etc. is the only way to save you. But what if the saving of yourself comes directly from you, that only you can save yourself? Of course there is assistance from “others” at the end of the day you have to do the work to save yourself nobody can help you do that!
