Many of us prize the trait of being independent. We use the concept of ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ to mean do it on your own, figure it out for yourself, and do what it takes to make it happen. While this attitude can seem motivating, there is another perspective worth exploring. The perspective of interdependence.
