The Norse Shaman: Rediscovering the Female Heart of Shamanism with Evelyn C. Rysdyk

Evelyn Rysdyk and Dr. Pat will discuss and explore the roots of our earliest human connections to spirit and how they relate to the present. Along the way, they’ll be talking about the central role of women in shamanism, how tumultuous changes in the past are preserved in the mythic stories of the Old Norse, the way patriarchal culture has impacted the self-image of all genders, and damaged the relationships we humans have with each other and with nature. Evelyn will also offer her perspectives about how we can choose to heal these broken threads.
