Dean Studebaker brings deep experience leading and motivating multifunctional teams to his role as President of Compass Group International/Compass Properties. After serving in the U.S. Military’s Special Operations unit, he obtained a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management and owned and operated two restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area.

He entered the real estate industry in 2002 and rose the ranks to become KB Homes’ #1 Net Sales Performer by 2005. Mr. Studebaker created a sales manual still being used by KB Homes. Mr. Studebaker joined Compass in 2005 and has since build up Compass Group International (the specialized consulting services arm of Compass Properties) as the #1 real estate consulting firm in Costa Rica. He is a featured contributor in Chicago Title Latin America’s magazine and a featured guest speaker throughout Latin America and Central America. Mr. Studebaker is based in Costa Rica & Thailand, is currently working with developers throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Specializing in working with Developers, Investors, Brokerages from Latin America to Asia on projects from Tax Free Zones, Hotels, to High Density Affordable Housing.

Mr. Studebaker is also a regularly featured host for HGTV’s “House Hunters International” From 2004 - 2012, the number one Real Estate TV show for the HGTV Network with millions of viewers worldwide! Currently working on a new TV Show “Living on $1,000 a Month!”
