Maria Forland
Maria Forland is a renowned Spirit Artist-Medium and Licensed Esthetician with decades of experience. Her Cape Cod based studio, Zen Beauty offers advanced skincare, energy healing, mediumship, workshops, destination retreats, training circles in-person and on Zoom. Her artistic journey includes Fine Art Studies at the California Art Institute, Ringling College of Art and Design, UCLA for Special Effects and specialty courses at Arthur Findlay Collage of Psychic Studies in England.Some of her creative projects offer a line of spiritually themed greeting cards featuring her
paintings and poetry, and a meditation system which won a merit award in New Age Retailer
for Outstanding Divination Tool of 2008. Her current Series of paintings titled Adoration and
Angels is in progress for print.
She feels attuned to a collective of guiding energies she refers to as the Ancients of Blue Light,
helping her to create the PEMS two-handed drawing method and continue to assist her in all
her creative endeavors.
With this sacred trust, she believes love and life are eternal and feels that she has been given
one of God’s greatest blessings to serve as a creative vessel for Spirit communication.
She is currently working on several projects with Dr Jeff Tarrant, Research Scientist and founder
of Psychic Mind Science, co-facilitating retreats and Spirit Art courses using AVE technology
which enhances her Spirit Art methods. Dr Tarrant has mapped her brain while doing her Spirit
communication and two-handed drawing. That experience ignited a passion to understand
more about the brain and research currently being done to explore states of consciousness.
She now serves on the board of ESCRI (Expanded States of Consciousness Research Institute) a
non-profit organization investigating the existence and or development of exceptional human
capacities through empirical and systematic methods of inquiry.
Her work creates a bridge between the scientific and the sacred, guiding souls to trust and
express what arises through hand and heart.
