Raised a Jehovah Witness Nicole was tied to spiritualality from birth. But unlike most that followed the cult rules out of fear Nicole followed out of Love. Love for the grand creator and all of his creation. After leaving JW Nicole felt as if she was reborn from the pain and betrayal to the wonder that the grand universal creator was so much more loving, wonderful and understand that she had been taught and you, the world at large, was already paradise if only humans would awaken.

Over the past three decades, Nicole has taught, coached, drawn, built, competed, and led. From teaching manga at public libraries and co-founding NDP Comics, Manga Kissaten, Aki Con, to owning the Seattle Spartans women’s tackle football team, Nicole has proven that vision paired with action can disrupt industries, ignite communities, and move hearts.

As well as running several other million dollar businesses, in childcare, Nicole started her first business as a teen and understood that her status as a black woman meant she had to cross every 'T' and dot every 'i', “cover your tail with a paper trail.” One of the many helpful things her momma taught her is being a business woman in her own right. Love and Lightning is her boldest creation yet—a multi-dimensional brand, platform, and movement designed to empower people to love the world, change the system, and take radical responsibility for shaping the future.
