Dr. Michele Perron
Dr. Michele Perron is an Alcohol Mastery Coach, counselor, and neuroscience-informed recovery specialist with more than 18 years of experience helping individuals transform their relationship with alcohol. After spending nearly a decade in traditional substance use treatment, she recognized that many high-functioning adults were seeking a more modern, individualized approach to change. This led her to specialize in alcohol moderation and develop a science-based methodology that has helped hundreds of clients regain control of alcohol—without requiring lifelong abstinence.
Dr. Perron holds an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management and earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2014. She also served for seven years as Senior Clinical Supervisor for a national addiction treatment organization in the United States.
Her advanced training includes certifications in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) and Addiction & Mental Health Nutrition (CNRC2), giving her a unique integrative perspective on behavior change, brain health, emotional wellbeing, and performance.
Today, Dr. Perron works primarily with adults over 35, helping clients regain mental clarity, confidence, and control in as little as two to six months, depending on severity and goals. Her individualized approach combines modern neuroscience, targeted nutrition, movement, The Sinclair Method, counseling, and evidence-informed alternative strategies to create sustainable change without shame, labels, or repeated cycles of failure.
Her mission is to help people end the physical and emotional suffering caused by excessive drinking by offering compassionate, effective, and forward-thinking solutions designed for modern life.
