Billie Mayo
Dr. Billie Mayo is a retired educator, a Senior Consultant and former co-owner of Educational Equity Consultants, an organization committed to dismantling the oppression of racism in public education and to building the capacity of individuals, schools and other organizations to address racism in ways that enable all people to reclaim their inherent intelligence and nobility.
Billie served for many years on the Interfaith Partnership Board and Cabinet and served as the organization’s president during 2015-2016. She is also a Racial Equity Consultant/Coach for The Deaconess Foundation, STL, The Ready Readers organization, and a member of the Black Healers Collective, which is comprised of a community of Change agents dedicated to fostering the healing and wholeness of African Diaspora people and marginalized communities. Dr. Billie Mayo is a member of the Bahá’í community and a nonprofit consultant helping communities heal from the hurts of racial prejudice and sexism.
