BIll Roland

Bill Roland is an experienced educator and special education leader who has spent more than 20 years helping students, families, and schools create stronger, more supportive learning environments. He currently serves as Director of Special Education for Brookfield Public Schools, where he leads districtwide programs and services for students with disabilities. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a teacher, coordinator, department chair, and administrator in several Connecticut school districts, building deep expertise in special education, leadership, school improvement, and student support systems. He is also completing his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at the University of Bridgeport, bringing both practical experience and a thoughtful, systems-level perspective to his work in education.
