What 9/11 meant to me - the wake up call for many of us with Dr. Lucinda Messer

It woke us from the dormant lives we were living; we were waken with the fear that all this normal life could easily be taken from us in a heartbeat. No longer were we able to depend on the world to provide us with the sense of security we so craved. The fear that we are so vulnerable as a nation or a world and so extremely subject to hateful acts was displayed on that infamous day. Indeed,we have spiraled downwards even deeper since with the war, the economic recession,loss of jobs, and not to forget, the healthcare of the nation.
