The World I Imagine: A creative manual for ending poverty and building peace.
September 21st is the International Day of Peace, as well as UN Peace Day. Establishing and maintaining peace takes far more creativity, dedication and hard work than war ever did. True peace would be much cheaper and far less traumatic than any war, but so far no one has been able to pull it off, says Debbie Jordan, author of The World I Imagine: A creative manual for ending poverty and building peace. Jordans book is a collection of 47 essays originating in the column she writes for the Arizona City Independent Edition in which she shares her ideas for ending poverty and building a peaceful society since she says peace and poverty cannot coexist.
