According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), over 100,000 people in the U.S. died of drug overdoses and drug poisonings in 2021.  A staggering 67 percent of those deaths involved synthetic opioids like fentanyl.  What is fentanyl and why is it such a deadly drug.
