Life Lives Again: One Lyme Patient’s Journey to Reclaim Her Voice, Wholeness and Joy with Deborah Mia Shelton
Jazz vocalist and Lyme Survivor Deborah Mia Shelton has just released her debut CD entitled ‘In Praise of Whole Notes.” Started in 1993, it’s taken her 17 years to reclaim her singing voice and complete the CD she was working on when she came down with chronic Lyme Disease and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. With her recording, she hopes to educate the public about Lyme and raise funds for research and education, as well as inspire her fellow Lyme patients to hold tight to their dreams, stay connected to their innate wholeness and never give up hope that one day, the right combination of treatments might come along that will allow them to more fully embody what they most treasure about being alive.
